Dear Theo, the Present Tense homage to artist Vincent van Gogh, addresses different aspects of the Dutchman’s work. Starry Nights is featured on the box lid while his renditions of irises adorn the flip side of the lid. His many self-portraits are represented on the bottom, and a poem from M.B. Goffstein’s Lives of the Artists sheds a different light on Van Gogh on the inside.

Kimono Dolls is a perfect box for a child’s birthday gift and it’s sized to accommodate many small toys or dolls. The spring-spirited pink and green color scheme is carried out in multiple papers as well as the figure decorating the top of the grosgrain ribbon.

Homage to Andy is the first in the Present Tense line of artist-inspired gift boxes. The Warhol-style photo quad on the cover is a picture of Schenley High School in Pittsburgh, Andy Warhol’s alma mater. It shares the top of the box with quotes from Andy while shoe illustrations from Andy’s department store days adorn the sides. The box measures 14″ by 10″ by 3”.
